Born in Kircali-Bulgaria in 1972, Prof. Dr. Suzan Saçar graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He completed his Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology specialization training at Pamukkalern University Faculty of Medicine between 1998-2003. 

After his specialization training, he worked as a Teaching Assistant Doctor in Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology in 2003, and was appointed as an assistant professor in 2006. 

He received the title of Associate Professor in 2009. In 2011, he started to work at Çanakkale Onsekiz Martrn University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology. 

He received the title of Professor Doctor in 2014. He worked at ÇanakkaleOnsekiz Mart University between 2011-2016, and at Balıkesir Özelİzmiryolu Sevgi Hospital between 2017-2021.  

He worked as a temporary assistant in Switzerland (University of Geneva Hospital, Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology).

He is a member of various medical associations such as European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology (KLİMİK), Turkey Infectious Diseases Vern Clinical Microbiology Specialization Association (EKMUD), Febrile Neutropenia Association.

Fluent in English, Bulgarian and Russian, Dr. As of August 2021, Suzan Saçar has been serving her patients in the Infection Department of the Private Denizli Surgery Hospital.
