Op. Dr. Zeynep Arslantaş completed her medical education at Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi and her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sağlık Bakanlığı Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi. During her specialist training she gained comprehensive clinical experience in pregnancy and delivery follow-up, obstetric emergencies, the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological conditions, ultrasonography and surgical procedures.

Clinical Interests and Practices

Her professional practice includes routine gynaecological examination and counselling, ultrasound-guided assessment, smear tests (cervical swab sampling) and infection screening, the investigation and treatment of menstrual irregularities, and counselling and hormone therapy for the menopausal period.

Within the scope of family planning, she performs the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) as well as the insertion and removal of subdermal contraceptive implants, planning the most suitable method of contraception individually for each patient.

Hysteroscopic and Gynaecological Procedures

In the assessment of intrauterine pathologies she uses office hysteroscopy (diagnostic intrauterine examination) and, where necessary, operative hysteroscopy.

In the field of functional, reconstructive and aesthetic gynaecology, she carries out procedures such as genital aesthetic surgery, platelet rich plasma (PRP) applications and genital whitening following individual assessment.

Pregnancy and Fertility Follow-Up

During pregnancy she provides regular pregnancy follow-up and counselling from the first trimester onwards, ultrasonographic monitoring and assessments aimed at the early detection of pregnancy-specific risks.

In the field of fertility, she follows her patients with ovulation induction (ovulation treatment), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) monitoring and treatments for hormonal regulation; in suitable patients she considers assisted reproductive methods such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) among the treatment options.

Academic and Professional Development

During her training she spent time at Sant’Orsola–Malpighi Hospital (Bologna, Italy) as an Observer Physician. She has supported her professional development with the following certification programmes:
