Born on 25 April 1979 in Denizli, Dr. Hülya Okçu completed her medical education at Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi. She received her specialist training in dermatology at the Dermatology Clinic of Ankara Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi. She prepared her specialist thesis under the title “Meme, mesane ve hematolojik hastalıkların etiyopatogenezinde saç boyası kullanımının rolü (maligniteler)”, supervised by Doç. Dr. Ülker Gül.

Dr. Hülya Okçu began her professional career in dermatology and has been working actively in the field of dermatology and venereology since 2002. Throughout her career she has served as a dermatology specialist in both public and private healthcare institutions, working as a specialist in dermatology and cosmetology at Mardin Nusaybin Devlet Hastanesi, Konya Beyşehir Devlet Hastanesi, Özel Isparta Hastanesi, Denizli Özel Tekden Hastanesi, Özel Medline Hastanesi, Özel Uncalı Meydan Hastanesi and Özel Olimpos Hastanesi.

Alongside clinical dermatology, she has gained experience in aesthetic dermatology procedures and has worked with numerous contemporary applications including botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, mesotherapy, PRP, dermaroller, laser procedures, gold needle (fractional radiofrequency), BBL, LIFU, medical peeling, thread lift and skin rejuvenation protocols. She has attended a range of courses and certified training programmes in dermatological surgery, dermoscopy, dermatopathology and non-invasive aesthetic technologies.

Dr. Hülya Okçu has scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals as well as congress papers, and her work has been cited in the literature. She is a member of Türk Dermatoloji Derneği, Ankara Deri ve Zührevi Hastalıklar Derneği, Antalya Tabip Odası and Kozmetik Dermatoloji Akademisi Derneği.

She is a native speaker of Turkish and has a B1 level of English.
